Allow us to introduce you to the Monkex Coffee Shop Club, a thriving community-driven project located on the Metis Andromeda network. Launched on July 1st, 2022, we arrived on Andromeda with a mission to shake things up.
The Monkex Coffee Shop Club is more than just a community, it's a place where individuals from all walks of life can come together to share their love for the digital world. Our goal is to bring people together and to build a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Monkex community not only serves as a gateway to the Metis Ecosystem but also provides invaluable guidance and support for newcomers, offering advice and assistance on how to seamlessly onboard into the dynamic and ever-changing Metis ecosystem.
Here on the Andromeda network, we're building something truly unique and special. Our project is developed and powered by the Metis community, made up of seasoned OG's who have been with us through thick and thin. Many of these seasoned OG's have been in crypto long enough to develop some skills in programming, marketing, project management, social media management, and more. These skill sets have the potential to drive Monkex to many places now and in the future.

Value proposition
The value of Monkex lies in its community. Blockchain technology is rapidly gaining adoption, with retail users actively engaging on-chain. However, some projects, such as memecoins or NFTs, exploit less experienced users for quick financial gains. These temporary projects ultimately harm the entire network. We are here to change that narrative and have successfully done so for nearly 2 years.
Many scam tokens have been identified and community members successfully warned and assisted to navigate their way through these sometimes uncertain times. This is just one value that Monkex provides to the Metis ecosystem.
The Monkex NFT collection is another area of value and has become seminal to the Metis Ecosystem. It is recognized widely as a Metis OG digital identity and brings a level of original Metis pride to its holders. These NFT's have also since been inscripted on the blockchain, making them one of very few in the entire crypto space to have done so.
Another area of value lies in the Monkex Gaming Hub which is located on our discord. This is a hub where crypto gaming alpha is dropped and crypto gaming access is shared for Monkex members to earn through gaming. There is now a treasury where a portion of the earnings are filtered to and this is will be used (in a dao format) to explore other gaming opportunities to bring more value to Monkex holders.
Roadmap
Our main goal and objective is to establish a Decentralized Autonomous Company powered by the Metis community. We are nearing the completion of this and have successfully settled on-chain. Our future relies on our community, and we incentivize individuals to join us in building together. Metis is in the hands of the Metis people.

Token utility
Our vision is to become the deflationary index token for the Metis ecosystem. We already have a number of pairs being arbitrated between exchanges, and more incentives are in the pipeline to add additional pairs with Metis ecosystem tokens, such as Hercules $Torch.
Monkex token is available on HerculesDex Genesis pools providing some great utility for its holders as well as added volume for the Metis Andromeda blockchain. Here we have autonomous management, with autonomous incentives and real yield (DEFI). Farming with real APR and 2% tax distribution back to LP providers.
What sets us apart is that we have taken a different approach. While most tokens are inflationary and decrease in value over time as they release more of their supply into circulation, our token is deflationary. We have already burnt 1/7 of the total supply through trading mechanisms, providing protection against downside risks. This makes our token a perfect fit to become the ecosystem's index token.
Monkex tokens were airdropped to many Andromeda wallets (those that had participated in the NFT scene on Metis) to ensure widespread distribution and incentivize engagement among community members. Today there are over 2850 holders and this continues to grow.
Monkex token's presence brings volume to the Metis Andromeda blockchain. Arbitrage bots actively maintaining price stability across multiple exchanges, fostering a healthy trading environment while increasing the overall transaction volume on the platform.
In addition, we are actively building a community treasury, which is secured by a 7-of-7 multi-signature mechanism. This ensures that trusted individuals are involved in the governance and management of the treasury.
Conclusion
After actively building our community and contributing on Andromeda for two years now, we are now applying to become a CVP. We have already proven ourselves to the Metisians and are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. It is important to note that Monkex has operated without raising any funds, and the project has been entirely driven by community members that believe in the Metis ethos.
