CVP Proposal: Score Milk (gaming platform)

Score Milk Proposal

Proposal Video:

Summary:
Score Milk is a gaming platform designed to revolutionize browser-based gaming. In the last decade, the landscape of browser gaming has remained largely stagnant, leaving over 50 million casual gamers navigating antiquated platforms. We propose to bring a breath of fresh air to this ecosystem by introducing Score Milk as a vibrant and innovative solution.

Platform Focus:
Score Milk stands out with its dedicated focus on innovating browser-based gaming. Bringing together a new competitive gaming experience with a community centric approach, Score Milk looks to position itself as a premier onramp into web3 gaming.

Platform Features:
Score Milk goes beyond being just a gaming platform; it is a community hub for both gamers and developers.

Key features include:
-Wagering on Skill-Based Games: Elevate the gaming experience by allowing users to bet on their skills.
-Revenue Sharing: Score Milk ensures that communities, gamers, and game developers receive a fair share of the platform fees.
-Leaderboards: Competitive gaming made visible with real-time leaderboards.
-Chat Functionality: Foster a sense of community through in-game chats between gamers.
-Community Lobbies: Dedicated spaces for like-minded gamers to connect and collaborate.
-Web3 Integration: Embracing the future of decentralized technology to incorporate gaming assets, gaming rewards, and cryptocurrency transactions.

Proposal Objective:
Our primary objectives encompass the establishment of a mutually beneficial partnership with Metis, aiming to foster collaboration and engagement between our respective communities. We propose to facilitate the introduction of web2 gamers and game developers to the Metis ecosystem while seeking Metis’ support in acquainting their existing community with Score Milk. This synergy also presents an opportunity for Score Milk to provide users with Metis rewards for gaming on our platform, with a potential for a token launch in the future. Additionally, we envision executing cross-marketing campaigns to amplify the visibility and appeal of both Score Milk and Metis within our shared audience. Through these initiatives, we aim to create a dynamic and supportive ecosystem that maximizes the benefits for both platforms.

Benefits to the Blockchain Community:
-Diversification: Enrich the blockchain gaming ecosystem with a variety of browser-based games.
-Engagement: Foster increased user engagement through competitive gaming and community building.
-Economic Incentives: Enable revenue generation for gamers, community owners, and developers through skill-based wagering and revenue-sharing mechanisms.

Conclusion:
Score Milk is more than a gaming platform; it is a catalyst for the evolution of browser-based gaming. By integrating Score Milk into the blockchain community, we aim to create a symbiotic relationship that benefits gamers, developers, community owners, and the broader ecosystem. We look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the dynamic and ever-growing blockchain gaming landscape.

I vote no, do not like games

The existing browser based gaming platforms, such as Poki and Crazy Games, cater to a large number of gamers. Yet, they do not offer any social features or community-based tools. We offer the ability to play games solely within a community, chat functionality between gamers, monetary incentives to community owners, gamer rewards, and the ability to wager on skill-based games, to name a few. There are many existing communities that can benefit from the engagement tools that we offer. There are many possibilities going forward on this front alone.

As far as monetization, unlike the aforementioned platforms, we do not rely on advertising. We operate on a fee-based structure where the revenues can be 30-100x of that of an ad-based system. Our platform can be significantly profitable with only 500-1000 daily active gamers.

Thank you for the questions. Feel free to ask anything else. We look great to hosting some game nights so that the community can test drive the platform.

1- One of the key features of Score Milk is the ability to bet on skill-based games. Can you explain in more detail this feature, what types of games users can bet on and how bets are made?

Yes, this is our core feature. Score Milk allows gamers to select a wager amount and initiate a game session. The system then looks for another player wagering the same amount on the same game within the lobby. Keep in mind that there are different lobbies in case the gamer only wants to play against someone that they know. Both players then sign the transaction, and the game begins. At the end of the game, the player with the higher score wins the pot(minus the fees that get split between the game dev, the community owner, and the platform).

2- Your revenue sharing model makes Score Milk a community-centered platform. However, can you explain on what scale and according to what criteria the revenue will be shared and how this model will be implemented on the platform?

The revenue split is not yet set in stone. Right now, the game developer and the community owner will each get 25% of the fees(there are some things in the works which may charge this), and the platform gets the remaining portion.

3-Score Milk’s blockchain integration embraces the future of decentralized technology by combining gaming assets, rewards and cryptocurrency transactions. How will this integration work and how will users benefit?

Right now, gamers are able to connect their wallets and sign transactions in order to begin a game session. This makes it very easy to transfer funds. They also receive XP rewards(called Coins) for their gameplay. These coins will be redeemable for cryptocurrencies, access to tournaments, or other digital assets.

Furthermore, we already showcase the ability to play games with NFTs held within the wallet. For example, in the TronVerse 1-player game, you can select which 3D NFT you want to play with. The same can be done for weapons and power-ups in the future. We can launch these assets for 3rd party games.

4-Score Milk’s intention to collaborate with Metis is very interesting. How is this collaboration planned to expand Score Milk’s platform and provide access to the Metis community? Also, which parties do you think will benefit from the collaboration between Score Milk and Metis?

We believe this will be a mutually beneficial relationship. Initially, the challenge for Score Milk is building a strong base so that new players, not necessarily web3 players, who come across the platform, get engaged right away. This entails building a strong community that believes in our vision. Metis will be a big part of this. In return, Score Milk will work closely with Metis to introduce new users to the Metis ecosystem. We will provide educational videos that explain the different functions that are key to onboarding into web3(such as funding your wallet). Keep in mind that we have a big emphasis on the web2 gamer. We aim to be the entry point to web3 for the web2 gamer.

  1. Can you explain in more detail the benefits of Score Milk to the blockchain community? In particular, what economic incentives and benefits are offered for players, developers and community owners?

Score Milk has a reward system in place both for wagered matches and for free-play. The dynamics of this reward mechanism will surely change based on partnerships and other possible factors.

For devs, they will earn every time their game is played. Their earning will be significantly greater than with an ad-based reward system.

For community owners, they will also earn every single time that a game is played within their community. That’s a win-win for everyone. They moderate the community and get rewarded for it.

Thank you for these great questions. Feel free to reach out if you have any follow-up questions. Hope to have you in our future game nights. We will let you know the details.
